01 What changed

Self-serve Stripe Express onboarding connects each contributor to their subscription plan, and successful invoices trigger automatic transfers.

The owner reconciled and paid roughly twenty contributors manually every month after a year of trying to automate the process.

Each monthly payout required matching the subscription to the producer and paying them one at a time.

Built a way for contributors to set up their payment details directly with Stripe.
Connected paid subscription invoices to the correct contributor, with a seven-day delay before transfer.
Wrote contributor instructions and fixed a payment-notification connection after delivery.

Let contributors supply verification, bank, and tax details directly through Express onboarding.

Map the subscription plan to the connected account, then allow a seven-day transfer delay covering the trial window.
